Laynee's Science Project

Laynee did a science project about stalagtites and stalagmites. It was fun working with her on it at Grandma's house. We typed up the oral report so she could tell her class about her project and get ready to display it at the Science fair. There were definetely some giggles along the way. Laynee did a wonderful job. Her teacher displayed the project for all to see.

Zoey Turns 1 year old!

Zoey had her 1st birthday. It was a great party and she was such a princess. She performed all afternoon for everyone and didn't fuss one little bit. She had fun opening presents and knew just what to do with them. She was having a blast popping bubbles that Tyson and Dallin blew for her. She enjoyed sitting on Grandpa's lap and eating some lunch, and didn't mind being passed around to all of the grandmas and grandpas. The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed coming for her birthday. The next day we took a trip to Chili's where she ate cheese crisp like it was going out of style. We took a trip to the aquarium with the 3 Utah grandkids where Zoey loved to see the fish, and got a new frog with wiggly eyes. On Memorial Day we all got together for a barbeque and she was the center of all our attention. It was so much fun to be with her for a few days. She is starting to take a few steps at a time and will be walking everywhere soon. Zoey loves her cousins, is so good with all the people around her. She will be a wonderful big sister. We are so excited for Josh and Tiffany to have another baby in November. We can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl. We probably wore Tiffany out with all the weekend activities, but it was sure fun to see our Utah kids. We love them so much.

Fun Times with Tyson and Dallin

We had a fun weekend with Jarron, Robyn, Tyson & Dallin. It was packed with fun! We went straight from the airport to Dallin's last soccer game. Jarron is the coach and had fun with the green dragons. Dallin scored 2 goals and proudly displays his trophy he helped pick out. You can see Tyson and Grandpa having fun at the game. :) Tyson helped to organize our weekend where we played the entire time. The boys beat grandma at bowling, went to Zoey's birthday party, went to a movie, out to eat, helped take Zoey to the Aquarium, saw 2 baby horses at Thanksgiving point and fit in many games. Grandma didn't win any of the games especially the basketball ones, but I did slide down the alley when I was bowling and caused everyone a good laugh. (too bad no pictures). We ended the weekend with a great barbeque where Josh, Tiffany and Zoey came along with Nancy, Allen and Jessica. The food was great, but we shed a few tears leaving for the airport. It is difficult living far away from the grandkids.

Levi's Kindergarten graduation

It was fun to attend Levi's graduation from kindergarten and his musical program. Levi is a good brother and made sure that Andrew got some brownie to munch on. He's headed to 1st grade next fall.

Piano Recitals

We enjoyed Michael and Joshua's first piano recital. They both did an outstanding job! Grandma was very proud of their efforts and hope we have the next Beethoven in our family.

Brian's Graduation

What a wonderful day! Great accomplishment Brian. We enjoyed the graduation, swimming and of course eating Krazy Sub.

Baseball games

We attended many baseball games this season with the McGonagill boys. What fun and exciting times we enjoyed. We tried to make as many of the games as we could and were even lucky enough to get a rose from Michael's coach on Mother's day weekend. How their mom and dad kept track of those schedules we still aren't sure. Andrew is already throwing a ball and learning to swing a bat.

Zoo with DeWitt's

We dashed off to the Zoo early in May before it got too hot. It was fun to see all the animals and
ride the camel. Luke loves the animals and especially the monkeys. Brooklyn enjoyed petting the goats. There is just nothing quite as much fun as grandkids at the Phoenix Zoo.
