Moving to Nevada - Yippee - Boo Hoo!

Brian and Celynda got into medical school!!! - yippee. They moved to Nevada August 1st - boo hoo!! We had fun packing, loading and moving, but now we are sad to have them go. Fortunately they aren't too far away and will be coming back to work and visit often. The ward they moved into is nice and their new house has a swimming pool. Sounds fun.

Cousins visit in June

All of the Cousins were together in June for the funeral. What fun they had swimming, jumping, eating and playing ball in Grandpa's backyard. Tyson, Dallin and Zoey stayed for a few days after the funeral and the Sparks family got to visit Arizona for 3 weeks. Because of the funeral plans were altered and Portlyn did her baptism in Arizona instead of Oregon. The cousins were all able to attend her special day. It was a great time having all of our grandkids together from Utah and Arizona. We are so excited to have 2 more grandkids joing the group. Enjoy the pictures of the cousins having so much fun!

Mom's Funeral

On June 7, 2009 Mother Pew passed peacefully away to join her beloved husband Lane. She now has her mind and heart to devote to the love of her life. Tom and I were there by her side when she sacredly left this earthly life. We will miss her sense of humor and quick wit, but not the hours of tireless work and worry. We are grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who helps us to see glimpses of eternity while we are here on earth. We know mother will live eternally and we look forward to the day when we can reunite with her. The family dinner, funeral and viewing were wonderful. We had a chance to be with dear ones and celebrate her life.
